SILENCE AFTER THE LAST PAGE
Otto had died. The final frame remained on paper, and the forest fell silent.
NoRa: “The dead don’t come back…”
A Dream Within a Dream · The next dream

When Otto died in our comic, the story did not end. Me Zen, NoRa and Braňo discover a gate into another dream. Three illustrated pages of original fiction.

Otto had died. The final frame remained on paper, and the forest fell silent.
NoRa: “The dead don’t come back…”
Between two dreams, the seconds begin to run in reverse. The white rabbit pricks up its ears.
Me Zen: “What if our dream isn’t over yet?”
The stone arch begins to glow. Braňo keeps his hands well away from the lock.
Braňo / NoRa: “I didn’t open it.” — “Then who did?”
Beyond the threshold, a silhouette moves. His story was supposed to have ended.
A voice beyond the gate: “I didn’t die…”
Otto appears beside the Dream Machine, as though he has crossed between two sentences.
Otto: “…I simply woke up in another dream.”
A message appears on the old screen. It needs no translation.
The Dream Machine: I LOVE, THEREFORE I AM.
The white rabbit winks at Me Zen. Even the universe deserves a smile sometimes.
The white rabbit: “No tricks or shortcuts. Just imagination!”
Beyond the gate is not emptiness, but a landscape full of lights, trees and possibilities.
Me Zen: “Not an ending. A new beginning.”
Otto looks back once more. A second ring of light appears above the horizon.
Otto: “And who is dreaming our dream?”
Original artistic fiction. A character returning in a comic is not a claim of literal resurrection. Me Zen is always portrayed as a woman. Prior editions and private materials stay separate.
I LOVE, THEREFORE I AM. ♥
